Three centuries before in the USA there began a very prevalent and cruel trade of employees. Slave trade in America used to be done by various people by transporting people from as far as Africa to America to work in their farmhouses without being pay. It is difficult to understand how the people managed to go through these things. Some people say they were simply loyal while others believe they were meek because they never tried to fight the American rule.
Some historians say that the Africans were just too obedient and docile as a race that they were never able to device successful ways that they can free themselves from their enslavers. Some of them even go as far as saying that they were stupid at the time and they never had the power to think of a perfect way to rebel the white people rule.
The slaves were subjugated to a lot of harsh treatments by their masters for nearly two and a half centuries a time that many people consider too long to live in oppression. However, with time more people started to rise against the slave masters and the cases of slaves killing their masters started to rise. Many people still did not have enough courage to form successful rebellion associations.
After more times of oppression the workers could not take this anymore and they were determined to form revolutions. In the 1900s, there were more than thirty different revolutions by the slaves to get away from their rulers. For a revolt to be categorized as a revolution it should be made up of more than10 slaves and their key objective should be finally getting back their liberty. These became very prevalent after the cruelty had become too severe for the slaves to bear.
Even though the slavery in the past centuries was reduced, there are still people of modern day that continue to be oppressed and sold as workers. Millions of people in different parts of the world still experience some form of oppression and they do not know how they can relieve themselves from this life. The following are examples of actions that can be taken to reduce the slavery that is still going on worldwide today.
One of the things that have to be done is increasing the public awareness about what is going on. There are many people in the world who are not aware that slavery is still aware thus they cannot do anything to help. Public awareness will help people to increase their commitment in helping.
A lot of reserves are required if there is hope of pursuing the fight against slavery. So as to get the much needed resources there is a need for various governments to verify their commitment for this fight. They may also form very harsh sentences for people tangled in slavery to dishearten people from working in this trade.
If all the things that have been mentioned above are done, people of the future generation will be able to look back and hear that slavery once existed but it was completely eradicated. Otherwise people will continue to suffer and be oppressed by their masters while people watch and do nothing about it.
