Explaining the rest of the subject matter would be easier once you get them to appreciate the actual concepts behind them. You want to teach them by starting out from the core. Then, you can go ahead and expound the rest afterward.

Be sure to encourage the people that you are supposed to be teaching. You want to impact to them the necessary pat on the shoulder to get them to be more motivated to work on learning and understanding the subject, they will appreciate things more when you don't just teach them, but you give them the push that they need to do better.

Be good at what you do. You will find that it is easier for you to do the things that you are supposed to do when tutoring these people when you love what you are doing. Use this chance to make sure that you have taken the right steps to show them that you love the job and you love being able to impart your knowledge on helping them out with the lessons.
