By Emily Sigidson

Love and art are two words that are interwoven across many different spectrums. Art is a talent that is displayed through love of the craft. It can be an inspiration in both a positive and negative form that makes way for some of the world's most incredible paintings.

One common emotion that will always remain universal is the feeling of love. From the love of a mother for her child to the passion of one lover to another, the emotion is certainly a powerful one. It is perhaps because of this reason that many art lovers seek out this type of art when making growing their collection.

For this reason, it is no surprise that love is so often the muse for many incredible works of art. We have seen it throughout the course of history in many different forms. From oil paintings to sculptures, the portrayal of love is limitless.

The artists are very aware of the significance that love plays in their ability to channel the emotions necessary to paint. They pride themselves on exercising the impact of this emotion and turning it into noteworthy works of art.

It is a truly beautiful occurrence when an artist is able to capture and relay an emotion that can in some form affect its viewer. What more could an art lover desire than to be deeply moved by a piece of art? This timeless emotion will be around for the long haul and will continue to appear in form of art.

As previously mentioned, artists are very aware of the impact of love on both their and on their viewer. There are many quotes from famous masterminds, but this certainly proves to be a personal favorite.

"If I could say it in words, there would be no reason to paint." Edward Hopper
