They serve different purposes depending on the occasion they are used for. The size and shape of a particular banner will not be the same as that of another. Other points of differentiation include color, material used, layout, and cost.

Cost in an important factor that will not escape the mind of the person in charge of acquiring posters on behalf of a religious institution. The budget that has been set aside will determine what will be ultimately purchased. With a considerable figure available to spend, highly customized items will suffice. If there are monetary constraints, custom-made pieces should be avoided in favor of pre made items.

If an existing design is not that appealing a religious institution can choose to have the design aspects tailored to meet particular specifications. This will be a bit costly but there a number of benefits to be enjoyed. Of course, the obvious benefit is that the final product will reflect symbols, colors, messages, and texts that define the religious establishment in question.

The purpose of having a banner within the perimeters of a church can be as simple as displaying bible verses. When congregants are inside a house of worship, their eyes will keep roving around a building. When someone's eye lands on the banner, there is a high possibility that his mind will capture words of encouragement that have been drawn from scripture. This will most likely stay in someone's mind for some time and as a result, the poster will have accomplished what it was made for.

These items also announce events. There is a wide range of functions they can serve ranging from transmitting greetings to being a news bulletin. Depending on what has to be announced, the item can be placed at the entrance, near corners or at the front.

Aesthetic elements matter a lot. That is why a banner will have the right balance of colors, shapes, and layouts. The importance of colors in a Christian context, should never be underestimated at any moment in time. When black is combined with white, the twin aspects of eternity and purity will be portrayed. Red brings to mind the vigor of life and the fact that love is the most important thing in life.

A poster will either be vertically or horizontally oriented. There will be a stand that supports it. The desired measurements for width and length have to be selected before production work is done. Finally, there is the issue of material to be used. Vinly is the best material because of its robustness and versatility.
