Secrets To Having More Prophetic Pastor Opportunities

By Jocelyn Davidson

There are a lot of people who believe that a higher being exists. Although there are many differences in faith and beliefs, these people have something in common and that is believing in something that cannot be seen nor touched. Even if the faith is there, many still need constant guidance from those that are called pastors to hone and reaffirm their beliefs.

To become a pastor, you would need to undergo training and attend classes. But becoming a good one takes more than trainings and classes. If you are someone who is good in what you are doing, you can be sure that there will be many prophetic pastor opportunities for you in the near future.

Prophetic pastors are the ones who preach about the prophecies that are stated in the Bible. They also act as the guiding light for those who are still in doubt of their faith. It is their role to preach the teachings that will hopefully convert and individual and make him or her repent on his or her sins.

There are those who have put up a wall around themselves to not allow anything to enter, especially spirituality. A preacher must learn to break these walls and touch the hearts of these people. One way to do that is by not sugarcoating your preachings too much.

Although the method above is a good way to catch the attention of many others, it is conventional and somewhat expected. Sometimes it is good to just go directly to the point and tell the audience what they need to hear, no sugarcoating required. You can give examples of individuals who have changed because they also change their way of living for the better.

Being consistent about your teachings is also a good way to serve God better. There might be times that your talks are praised and could inspire others. It may even move several others to tears. But this is not a usual scenario no matter how hard you try. The best thing that you can do is to always be consistent about how you do things.

Sometimes, you can be worried that you are not doing a good job because there are less applauses for you compared to others. When you speak, not all of them will listen. But you have to remember that this job you have is not something in which you should take credit for. You are preaching the teachings God.

There is a chance that you can become popular if there are really many people who want to hear you talk. But if this is your goal in becoming a better preacher, then you better stop. Doing something for the wrong reasons will never be a success.

These are just some of the things that you must remember so that you can be a good pastor. Opportunities in this context does not mean more gigs or chances to become famous. Opportunities here mean that you would have more chances to serve your God in the best way you know how. When you do everything in His name, you will be able to speak from the heart. And when this happens, surely, more and more audiences will listen to the things that you are saying.
