Viewers Reaction According To The Code Geass Anime Review

By Estelle Larsen

If you are a fan of Mecha robots raging war against each other, this would be one anime to watch. One distinguishing feature when you can say that the series is made from Japan is when you can see robots controlled by one person fighting against each other to achieve their goal. One perfect example of an anime with this type of genre is the Code Geass.

There were a lot who wanted to see more of the series and was granted that when it extended for another season. It premiered on October 2006 and each season has 25 episodes. Following the very successful show, they have also released a video game and several Mangas for this anime. There were also novel releases. Making sure that a series like this is worth watching, so to make sure you have read on to the collective Code Geass anime review below.

It was in a different time line and during that time, technology was at its finest. The whole story revolves around the rebellion against empire known as Britannia. It was a dark time for Japan since they have to give up all the freedoms they have known. And they were forced to become a colony of the empire which was only known as Area 11.

During the height of the war against Japan, the Britannian Emperor chose to exile his only son and daughter to Japan to serve as a bargain for peace. It was also during that time that Prince Lelouch vi Britannia witnessed the murder of his mother which caused the blindness and the paralysis of the lower half of the body of his sister. Because of these events, the young prince then made it his ultimate goal to seek revenge against the entire empire.

There was a time when his life was in danger and a girl which was known as C. C granted him the power of Geass. This enabled him to have control over the mind of anyone he wishes. And this became his most powerful tool in leading the rebellion. The whole crusade cost him a lot of people and his old personality.

The intention of the main character in this is plot is admirable like since he aims to free a country from the clutches of a more greedy and more powerful nation. And to some who really have not watched it, he could be a hero. But that could not be entirely true.

One of the things that captured the attention of critics is the quality of the graphical presentation in the anime. It is consistent even in difficult scenes. There are other animes of the same genre and idea as well but what sets this particular series apart is the whole plot.

The story line of the anime is solid. And you will be able to see twists which you have never expected. There is also a different kind of humor which you will be able to observe as the story progresses. The dark humor somewhat balances the seriousness of the entire story theme.

If you want something that is different, this is highly recommended by those who watched it. The fact that the main character is not an admirable hero is really something to look forward to already. If you liked what you read, then you can add it in your to watch list.
